We are an untraditionally British brand. We have distribution depots in the UK and Australia. So depending on where you call home, your items will be sent from one of these locations.

In a word. No. All of our orders are still being shipped either same day or next working day. We are finding some courier companies are experiencing slight delays to delivery. But, by no more than a day or two. 

For every pair of sunglasses sold, we plant two trees. It's a joint effort between you, us and our reforestation partners to give back to the planet and fight climate change.

For every purchase of sunglasses (except North, Central and South America) we are currently planting trees in Australia to help restore the tragic forest fires that have destroyed 15 million acres of bush as of Jan 2020.

For purchases made in the USA we are replanting in California to help combat the destruction of forests during the 2019 wildfires.

And for purchases in Central and South America we are replanting in the Amazon basin. Logging is rife in the Amazon rainforest and we are proud to be helping to restore this natural wonder.

Despite being made from recycled ocean plastic we suggest you don't take your sunglasses swimming, especially not in sea water. Some of our frames use a coating which can peel if submerged in salt water. We cannot accept returns on any sunglasses which show issues of water contact.
No. We found out the hard way!
All shipments are processed and shipped within 1-2 working days. Shipping takes 2-4 days. We are finding most parcels are received within 3 days of placing an order. During the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are asking all customers to give all postal services an extra few days to deliver while they deal with social distancing measures, reduced staff etc. 

We offer Next Day Delivery to the UK only. Orders must be placed before 1pm for next day delivery. Otherwise they will ship the following day.

Import tax will not be due on any UK orders.


Unfortunately, for International orders, import tax is out of our control and as of now, we have no way of charging and/or paying import tax prior to arriving at the destination country. But....we have had very few reports of anyone having to pay import tax (unless you live in Canada, where they seem to love import tax and duty!!).Unless you are ordering an insane amount of sunglasses, and we don’t blame you, then your total value will probably be below the threshold for tax to be applied. But please note, import and duty taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

We ship to pretty much most countries!
Our dispatch team are a speedy bunch, but we will do everything we can to amend your order before it is shipped. Just drop us an email at support@nomadeyewear.com and we'll do what we can.

Not happy your product for any reason? We get ya, sometimes the shades just don’t fit! We offer hassle-free, simple returns for 45 days after delivery. Just hit us up at returns@nomadeyewear.com and we’ll get it sorted. All sunglasses have to be shipped back in original packaging (don’t worry about the shipping bag!). The products must be unused and with no signs of wear and tear.

Currently we only accept returns on the original ordered items. So, if you return your shades for another pair, then decide you would like to return the new sunglasses, we reserve the right to charge a £10 restocking fee. This helps to cover costs of additional postage and time taken with you order.

As a small business, we hope you understand this restocking fee.


Yes. But we reserve the right to charge a £10 restocking fee on any items which have previously been exchanged. So, if you purchase a pair if sunglasses and wish to exchange them, no worries at all. But if you then decide to return the new pair, we reserve the right to charge a £10 restocking fee.

As a small business we hope you understand we have to cover certain costs. The £10 restocking fee helps cover additional postage and man-hour costs.

Once we receive your return, we will process it within 2 working days. If you have requested an exchange, the new item will be shipped as soon as the return has been checked. Refunds take up to 2 working days to show in your account.

In 2020 we are running a tiered Black Friday Sale:

Buy 1, get 35% off.

Buy 2, get 50% off.

Buy 3 or more, get 60% off.

No refunds will be given on any item purchased during our Black Friday sale. Instead a store credit will be issued for the returned item.

The total amount of store credit given will depend on which tier you originally purchased from and after the return which tier you land in. For example, you purchase 2 pairs of sunglasses and receive a 50% discount in the "Buy 2, Get 50% Off" tier. You return 1 pair. Therefore you move into the "Buy 1, Get 35% Off" tier. You will be returned the amount minus the total cost if you had originally purchased just 1 pair with 35% off.
